FAQ ✦

What is BlobBound?
BlobBound is a fully on-chain NFT collection of 6,000 unique kawaii blobs on Base. Every blob's art is generated by the smart contract itself — no IPFS, no external server. The art is literally stored on Ethereum forever.
How much does it cost to mint?
Your first mint is FREE if your wallet holds at least 0.005 ETH (one free mint per wallet). Each additional mint costs 0.00014 ETH. Maximum 10 mints per wallet. Plus tiny Base gas fees (usually a few cents).
When can I see my blob?
Immediately. Since the art is generated on-chain at mint time, your blob appears right after the transaction confirms — both on this site and on OpenSea. No reveal delay.
What are the four tiers?
Little Soul (50%, purple), Star Marked (30%, green), Dream Witch (15%, pink halo), and Gold Crown (5%, yellow crown). Tier is randomly rolled at mint. You can burn one blob to evolve another up one tier permanently.
What does Inscribe / Reroll / Burn do?
Inscribe: permanently stamp 16 characters on your blob (gas only). Reroll: randomize the art while keeping the tier (small fee). Burn to Evolve: sacrifice one blob to upgrade another's tier (gas only).
Can I sell my blob?
Yes. BlobBound is a standard ERC-721, so you can list and trade on OpenSea, Blur, Magic Eden, or any NFT marketplace that supports Base.
Is it really 100% on-chain?
Yes. The SVG art and JSON metadata are generated directly by the smart contract — encoded as base64 data URIs returned by tokenURI(). No IPFS pinning. No central server. The art lives as long as Base lives.
